Creatives and Learners: We need each other!

I’ve found during my short little time in biz and working with different folks, there are basically two different types of people.
The creative ones. You know them, maybe you are one. These are the people who are busting at the seams with ideas. Nearly every idea they put to paper is a winner and there is no shortage of them.
And then there are people like me, who may struggle to come up with that killer idea, or even with the next blog post, but who can learn a new software in record time. Who can schedule social media in an hour a week. The ones who can take care of the technical side of things.
What I’ve noticed more than anything is how these two types of business people need each other to survive.
As always, there’s a business side to business. As a creative entrepreneur, there’s a chance the business side doesn’t interest you at all. Setting up automated emails, scheduling social media, setting up sales funnels.
BORING!
This is where the help of the technically inclined can be invaluable. Enlisting someone, even just a couple hours a week or month, to help take care of the necessities can save SO MUCH TIME.
If you’re more of the creative entrepreneur type, chances are you don’t want to take the time to learn new software platforms or curate content for your audience. You would rather be creating and getting your audience the amazing content they have come to expect from you.
And why shouldn’t you? You have amazing ideas!
The flip side to that is there are tons of people in this world we call biz who would rather be learning and figuring something out instead of writing blog posts.
Which one are you?
