Send a Squarespace Form to a Thank You Page

This week I've got a super quick tutorial for you! If you're using a Squarespace form, (check out my tutorial for that here!) you may want to send your subscribers to a thank you page after they've subscribed.

You'll notice in the settings for the form, there isn't a place to add the URL for the thank you page. But there is a place for Post Submit HTML.

In this video, I'll walk you through how to use this space to send subscribers to your thank you page!

Bonus: this thank you page can include a tripwire offer for your new subscribers! ;-)

Before we get started, be sure to subscribe to my channel by clicking the red subscribe button. This way you don't miss new videos as they're added every single week!

The steps below take into account that you already have a thank you page that you want to send new subscribers to.

If you don’t, you’ll need to create that first!

Step 1:

Go to Pages and navigate to the page with the Squaespace form you want to work with.

Step 2:

Click Actions on the far left to edit the settings of the form. You may also have to click Edit Form. Go to the Advanced Settings tab.

Step 3:

In the Post HTML Submit box, add this line of code:

<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0; url=INSERT YOUR THANK YOU PAGE URL HERE" />

Make sure to change the “INSERT YOUR THANK YOU PAGE URL HERE” text to your actual thank you page URL. :-)

Click SAVE and you’re all set!
