Well hello there, Reader! If you’ve been following me any time at all, you know that tech and systems are my JAM! And if you’re new around here, now you know! 😉
It’s come to my attention that some newer entrepreneurs and online business owners may not know the best tools to use for their business.
Side by side with that, some seasoned entrepreneurs may not know the best tools to use!
So I decided it was time to compile a list of my absolute favorite tools for online business. I mean these tools are the bees knees. I’ve been using them for years and would recommend them in a hot second.
I don’t know if I would still be in business without them!
Let’s get to it!
ConvertKit
Hands down my favorite email marketing tool. And I’ve used several of them. The thing I love about ConvertKit is that they understand that email lists are about more than just marketing. Your audience wants to know YOU.
So they don’t have fancy templates and a drag and drop email editor. While that may sound like a turn off to you, it’s what makes it 100% the best email marketing platform to me.
Because emails through ConvertKit look less like a Sunday morning Target ad, (I LOVE Target, btw) and more like an email from your BFF who just had to tell you the amazing thing that happened to her this week.
And even with that major difference over the competitors, you can still absolutely whip up sequences and automations so your business and email marketing runs on autopilot!

Squarespace
I’m no website designer. But Squarepace makes me feel like one! I tried a few different website platforms before deciding on this one. And let me tell you, while the price is a little more, sure, it’s absolutely worth it.
For starters, they give you beautiful templates to get started with. You can literally plug in your photos and your own copy and Boom! Gorgeous website!
There’s a template for every taste and no reason not to have a completely custom, stand-out website.
Canva
One thing about having an online presence is that you’re going to need graphics. But don’t worry, you don’t need to be an InDesign or Photoshop expert.
The creators of Canva have come to every non-designer’s rescue!
Canva is a super simple design app. It’s all online based so everything is saved there. Create any type of image you could possibly need. Blog, Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram, Story, website… everything.
You can use Canva 100% for free, but i highly recommend the paid version. It has tons of perks that make it totally worth the nominal fee like resizing images, free stock photos, and custom fonts for better branding.

Dubsado
Dubsado is a great CRM (customer relationship manager). It’s pretty easy to use and can take you from cold lead through signed contract and paid invoice in one step.
Create sign up forms, questionnaires, contracts, invoices, track project status, and so. much. more.
Plus they have a free trial that isn’t timed. So you can take all the time you need to get it set up before paying a dime.

YNAB
So this one’s a little different than the others. It’s not directly business related. But YNAB or You Need A Budget is a budget app and I only WISH I had had this for my life and business YEARS ago. YEARS.
It’s absolutely life changing because you use it to budget the money you have, not the money that may or may not be coming in. Prioritize what you have. Set goals. Get AHEAD.

Tailwind
This is the app of all apps if you’re using Pinterest for your business (which you should be). Schedule pins as far in advance as you want and pin your own pins automatically with SmartLoop.
Tailwind has been a game changer for my business. My email list is growing on autopilot with very little focus on social media.
